We are seeking a Swing Shift Production Associate to join our expanding team in the Portland area. The role involves packing bagged products into boxes and stacking cases onto pallets in a refrigerated environment. Key responsibilities include inspecting, monitoring, and communicating issues with equipment or products to the Lead.

Work Schedule: Typically Monday - Friday, starting at 2:50 PM

Compensation: Starting at $16.75/hour plus a 50-cent shift differential

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare bags and boxes.
• Ensure proper coding and sealing of bags and boxes before packing into cases or onto pallets.
• Properly stack and place finished cases on pallets.
• Understand different case packs and weight ranges.
• Adhere to company quality standards and report defects.
• Monitor packing equipment for proper operation.
• Communicate shift changes and relevant information to team members.
• Follow GMP and GSP standards.
• Work within quality and regulatory standards.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Practice 5S and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Effective communication in English preferred, but not required.
