Job description

Planting and cultivating of annuals, perennials and finished plants

Care and pruning of plant stock

Watering and maintenance of plant stock

Moving and organizing of plant stock

Cleaning and maintaining production and greenhouse areas

Use and maintain tools and equipment

Property and grounds maintenance

Assist in harvesting, packaging and preparation of plants for sale and distribution

Assist customers with plant care and handling instructions

Labeling of plants for inventory purposes

Load and unload shipments from delivery vehicles

Requirements:

Age 18+

Contribute to a positive work environment

Plant/Garden Knowledge – a plus! We are willing to teach and train if you are willing to learn

Strong attention to detail and good organization skills

Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions

Ability to lift 50lbs

Ability to remain active for shift

Comfort with heights is a plus

We are very flexible with hours and are looking for people who are able to start February 1st. Full

time and part-time positions available, from one day a week up to seven!

Compensation:

Fitchburg Farms will provide the following compensation:
