The Production Associate assembles manufactured products and packs them according to specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assembles system components, which requires positioning, aligning, and inspection to ensure accuracy.
- Visually inspects parts for defects and proper insertion and placement.
- Monitors and restocks parts bins as required.
- Reports problems and makes initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Adheres to and ensures compliance with Quality System SOPs, work instructions, drawings, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO requirements.
- Attain hourly output targets, while maintaining quality standards.
- May perform other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Flexibility & willingness to cross-train and learn all functions within the department.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook or related software as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience working with semi-automated machinery in a commercial industry.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Regular attendance and reliable transportation required.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
