Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Production Associate in Illinois to assemble manufactured units and verify quality before shipping. You will complete assembly of final units, test them, and maintain clean, organized work areas in a safety-conscious, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include reporting damaged parts, attending safety meetings, using basic hand and power tools, and double-checking assemblies to ensure safety and readiness for shipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read measuring tools.
• Mechanical skills are required.
• Knowledge of hand tools.
• Some use of power/cutting tools to complete assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble final units including conveyors, underbins, undercarts, 1208s, 1610s, hoppers.
• Test completed units and ensure quality before shipment.
• Clean and organize work areas for efficiency and safety.
• Report damaged or nonconforming parts to shop lead.
• Attend safety meetings and follow safety policy requirements.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, drilling as needed.
• Double check assemblies to ensure they are safe to ship.
• Work with shipping to stage assembled units for shipping.
• Support policies in employee handbook.
• Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude in a culture-driven environment.

• Complete assembly of final units (these include fill conveyors, underbins, undercarrs, 1208’s,1610’s, hoppers, etc.
  
• Test completed units
  
• Clean and organize work areas
  
• Report damaged or nonconforming parts to shop lead
  
• Attend safety meetings as needed and work within safety policy requirements
  
• Perform some of the following as needed: welding, cutting, grinding, drilling
  
• Responsible for double checking assemblies to ensure that they are safe to ship out
  
• Work with shipping department to stage assembled units for shipping
  
• Support policies in employee handbook
  
• Positive and helpful attitude in a team and culture-driven environment
