The Lee Group is looking forProduction Associatesto work at one of our valued clients in Newport News, VA.Production Associatesare essential part of the production process, working on the line to produce high-quality food products that meet the company’s stringent standards. Some responsibilities ofProduction Associateswill include handling and processing frozen food products, ensuring that production runs smoothly, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Job Responsibilities ofProduction Associates

• Open boxes of frozen fish and place them on the production line.
• Separate frozen fish portions and evenly distribute them across a conveyor belt. Remove any portions that are the incorrect size or shape.
• Package fish into plastic bags and boxes. Use sealing equipment to secure the boxes.
• Assemble boxes on the assembly line.
• Monitor the quality, size, and shape of fish portions as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping the floor, cleaning the work area, and disposing of refuse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications ofProduction Associates

• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 - 66 lbs.
• Adaptability to changing work environments and tasks.
• Ability to work precisely, consistently, and quickly.
• Must not have a seafood allergy.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Working Conditions & Physical RequirementsofProduction Associates

• May be exposed to common allergens (fish, shellfish, nuts, eggs, wheat, soy, milk, tree nuts).
• Exposure to typical industrial manufacturing conditions (noise, dust, machinery) is possible.
• This role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing, and bending.
• Mustbe able to lift and move up to66pounds.
• May be exposed to common allergens (fish, shellfish, nuts, eggs, wheat, soy, milk, tree nuts) depending on facility.

Shift Details(note: actual shift times are typically8hrsbut the right candidate will have the following availability):

• 1 st shift availability required: 5:30am–4:00pm
• 2 nd shift availability required: 3:00pm – 1:00am
