Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Production Associate in Newport, TN to help manufacture quality products, meet daily goals, and support a safety-focused team. You will assemble parts, load and unload materials, inspect for defects, and read assembly sheets in a fast-paced operation.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to reliable attendance. Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Education Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
