Job summary

Something Inked, LLC in Nashville is seeking a Production Press Operator to help meet daily production goals while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced screen-printing environment.

You will operate a screen press (multi-color a plus), prepare pallets, remove finished goods, and assist with folding, bagging, and tagging for shipping, with training provided to learn all steps of the production process.

Job description

Job Purpose:We are looking for a Production Press Operator to join our team! This position will be responsible for actively meeting daily production schedule goals while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.Essential Job Functions:Process all production scheduled goals.Operate a screen press in order to satisfy customer orders.Make corrections in the printing process in order to reduce misprints.Work with other press operators, ink department, art department and management to ensure quality of prints.Removes tags from product for screen print.Loads product on press pallet for screening.Removes product from press pallet onto heat dryer.Ensure merchandise counts are correct.Open to learning all aspects of the production process in order to meet demands.Folds products based on directions received from Lead/Supervisor.Bags and tags merchandise manually or using folding machine.Retrieving orders from the production floor or stock that are ready for bagging/finishing.Complete bagging total sheets and prepare for shipping.Perform job functions with consistency and regularity, minimizing quality issues or damages.Learn and master the Standard Operating Procedures of your assigned area.Maintain regular and punctuality attendance - in good standingMaintain a clean and hazard free work environment by contributing to housekeepingThe above statements describe the job’s essential responsibilities and requirements.
