Job summary

Meridian Goodwill in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Production Associate to support daily donation processing, sorting merchandise for sale, replenishing stock, and assisting guests and donors. You will be cross-trained to help in all areas of production.

You must be able to work with people of varying abilities, perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and operate with safety in a climate of temperature changes. A background check is required and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties at a donation center and sales floor.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift as required.
• Comfortable working in variable temperatures and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Process donations and sort merchandise for sale.

The Production Associate performs duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW. Meets daily production goals. Duties will include processing donations; sorting and preparing merchandise for sale, replenishing stock and/or removing merchandise from the sales floor. Greets and assists guests and/or donors. Assists with accepting donations at the donation door as needed and/or assigned. Must be cross-trained and assist in all aspects of production, as directed.

• Ability to work with people having different abilities.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks independently.
• Knowledge of current trends helpful.
• Requires standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for entire shift (excluding break times).
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Requires tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
