Job description

Primary Duties :

The primary responsibility of the Production Associate is to ensure our product is processed safely and meets all quality expectations as outlined by work instructions and standard operating procedures. The Production Associate is also responsible for achieving production targets in line with demand.

Essential Duties :

1. Assemble components for glass products.
2. Ensure that produced parts meet customer specifications.
3. Pack finished products according to customer requirements.
4. Process various products following all work instructions, quality, and safety standards.
5. Identify, record, and communicate issues related to the product or production process.
6. Propose and implement solutions to problems through designated channels.
7. Adhere to work standardization and complete relevant training.
8. Maintain housekeeping standards and expectations.
9. Assist in training other associates for cross-training purposes.
10. Track and collect data related to production and quality standards.
11. Comply with NSG / Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct, including its Values and Principles.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications Required :

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in warehouse, value-add/manual assembly, manufacturing, or handling equipment, with basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently; occasionally sit, bend, and squat.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing from 1 lb to 45 lbs without assistance.
• Knowledge of departmental safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
