Job summary

Eco Prime Thrift Laurel, MD #190 - LARL is seeking a Production Associate to help process donations accurately for our retail store. You will greet donors, provide receipts, sort items, and prepare merchandise for sale.

You will work to meet daily production goals, move items to the sales floor, and keep the facility clean and safe. The role requires standing, walking, and light lifting, with adherence to PPE and loss-prevention policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet donors upon arrival and express appreciation.
• Provide donors with accurate donation receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable and non-acceptable donation items and courteously decline items that cannot be accepted
• Sort donated items into designated containers following established sorting and grading guidelines.
• Grade, hang, price, and tag merchandise in preparation for retail sale.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly production goals.
• Transfer sellable merchandise from the processing area to the sales floor to maintain stock levels.
• Perform floor care and general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.
• Cross-train in other store positions as business needs require. Support team members and leadership to ensure efficient store operations.
