Job summary

Eco Thrift Houston, TX #163 is seeking a Production Associate to help process incoming donations, greet donors, sort and prepare items for sale, and support efficient store operations.

You will grade, tag, price merchandise, move stock to the floor, maintain a clean, safe workspace, follow PPE rules, and strive to meet daily production goals. High school diploma or GED and prior retail experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet donors upon arrival and express appreciation for every donation.
• Provide donors with accurate donation receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable and non-acceptable donation items and courteously decline items that cannot be accepted
• Sort donated items into designated containers following established sorting and grading guidelines.
• Grade, hang, price, and tag merchandise in preparation for retail sale.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly production goals.
• Transfer sellable merchandise from the processing area to the sales floor to maintain stock levels.
• Perform floor care and general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.
• Cross-train in other store positions as business needs require. Support team members and leadership to ensure efficient store operations.
