Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is hiring a manufacturing associate in Ohio. You will operate extrusion and blow-molding machines, adjust settings, and help keep production moving.

Starting pay is up to $25 per hour, with night shift premiums and double pay on Sundays. Training and Plastipak Academy courses support growth and skills development within a family-owned, global packaging leader.

• Participate in on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.

What You'll Do

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving smoothly.
• Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure, as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and handle basic maintenance tasks.
• Check product quality to ensure everything meets customer standards.
• Work as part of a shift team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Keep learning and growing with on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• A knack for working with your hands and solving mechanical problems.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems helps too.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
