Job summary

WillowWood is hiring a Production Associate to join our Custom Fabrication team in a full-time role. You will manufacture and assemble prosthetic products, following quality and safety standards, using hand and power tools.

You will learn production processes through hands-on training and cross-training with teammates, while contributing to meeting daily production and quality goals in a clean, controlled environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous hands-on manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Comfort with using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on production and fabrication tasks.
  • Operate hand and power tools to shape and finish materials.
  • Assemble products per work instructions and specifications.
  • Safely lift and move molds up to 30–50 lbs.
  • Operate production equipment after proper training.
  • Measure materials and components for accuracy.
  • Inspect completed work to meet quality standards.
  • Follow production procedures and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Learn different production processes through training and cross-training.
  • Collaborate with team to meet daily goals.
  • Perform other production duties as needed.

What You\'ll Do

As a Production Associate, you\'ll work as part of our Custom Fabrication team to manufacture and assemble custom prosthetic products while following established quality and safety standards.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Perform hands-on production and fabrication work
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, grind, sand, trim, drill, and finish materials
  • Assemble and fabricate products according to work instructions and customer specifications
  • Safely lift and move molds up to 30-50 lbs
  • Operate production equipment and machinery after receiving proper training
  • Measure materials and components to ensure accuracy
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Follow established production procedures and safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Learn different production processes through hands-on training and cross-training
  • Work with team members to meet daily production and quality goals
  • Perform other production duties as needed

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing, production, construction, fabrication, automotive, woodworking, or similar hands-on experience is a plus
  • Comfortable using or willing to learn how to use hand and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on work
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new skills and production processes
