Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment; glass industry preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and understand basic mathematical measurements and use a tape measure.
• Willingness to work in all areas of production.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Transport materials including glass from one position/location in the warehouse to another.
• Label products correctly.
• Conduct quality inspection on items and materials.
• Operate equipment or manually maneuver equipment.

Production Associate
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $16-$18/hr
Shift: 6am- end of production
8-10 hours per day
OT as required by business needs
Position Summary
The Production Associate is responsible for safely handling, inspecting, labeling, and transporting glass materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location in the warehouse to another
• Responsible for correct labeling on products
• Quality inspection on items and materials
• Operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a production environment (glass industry preferred, but not required)
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
• Ability to read and understand basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• Ability to work in all areas of production
