Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Production Associate for the day shift to join our manufacturing team. You will move glass, read labels, inspect quality, and help maintain a smooth production flow on-site.

The role requires reliability, the ability to read basic measurements, and a willingness to rotate through production areas. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour with benefits starting day one and a monthly production incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required or preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production setting preferred.
• Ability to read and understand paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Willingness to work across all production areas and maintain safety.
• Reliable with regular attendance and on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Move glass to and from tables, furnace, racks, and trucks daily.
• Transport materials to expedite production and ensure flow.
• Read and attach labels to products accurately.
• Perform quality inspections and operate equipment as needed.
• Understand facility layout to maintain smooth product flow.
• Rotate through different production functions as required.
• Inspect products and report issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow procedures.
• Ensure attendance and safety policies are followed consistently.

Who You Are:

A highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work, wants to perform their role in a timely and efficient manner while producing good quality product, and wants to grow in their knowledge and experience while helping the organization to be successful.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Skills You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, highly preferred
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
