Job summary

Driverge Vehicle Innovations in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Production Associate to join our automotive assembly team. You will track supplies, install vehicle accessories, disassemble and reassemble vehicles, and perform wiring and basic diagnostics to support our shuttle and van conversions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and comfort with power tools. We offer regular hours, competitive wages, and a team-oriented work environment that values safety

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Track supplies and equipment, notifying manager of inventory levels.
• Install vehicle accessories; disassemble and reassemble vehicles.
• Wiring per specifications: adjust, repair, and replace wiring and relays in ignition, lighting, and safety control systems.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting and automotive maintenance.
• Document service and installation actions per SOP.

What you get to accomplish:

• Track supplies and equipment notifying manager of inventory levels.
• Install vehicle accessories. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles
• Wiring per specifications: Adjust, repair, and/or replace wiring and relays in ignition, lighting, and safety control systems (change) – (preferred)
• Perform electronic troubleshooting and automotive maintenance
• Document, service, and installation action in accordance with company standard operating procedure.

What you should posses :

• Individuals with background experience in vocational school, automotive , trade school experience or auto dealer experience preferred.
• Have experience working with automotive electrical and mechanical systems;
• Must have a solid comfort level using a variety of power tools: bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, solder and soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives and air saws.
• Comfortable measuring and using a tape measure. Knowledgeable reading blueprints (preferred)
• Must be able to work with chemicals.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid/Active Driver's license required.
