Job summary

Knights Companies Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate for our Precast team. You will read plans to create forms with close tolerances, assemble forms, cut and tie rebar, pour concrete, and perform finishing work to meet project specifications.

Safety and teamwork are essential in our collaborative environment. You will operate basic tools, maintain clean work areas, request needed materials, and follow PPE rules while contributing to on-time project completion and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year's experience in the construction field is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and plans.
• Working knowledge of construction-related math.
• Great organizational skills.
• Must have the willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to accept and follow directions as provided by supervisors and ask questions when needed.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Associate to join our Precast team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality precast concrete projects while working in a safe and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with form construction, concrete finishing, and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

What You'll Do:

• Read and interpret plans to accurately create forms with close tolerance to specifications, utilizing appropriate materials and tools.
• Safely and skillfully operate tools such as hammers, measuring tapes, and other equipment necessary for constructing precast products.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards.
• Identify the need for new tools, hardware, lumber, and other materials required to complete projects effectively.
• Assemble forms, cut and tie rebar, place castings into forms, pour concrete, and perform finishing work to meet project specifications.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion and team success.

Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely lift a minimum of 100 lbs. with assistive devices.
• Ability to work in extreme weather, including but not limited to high heat, low temperature, and high sun environments.
• Ability to operate tools required to complete construction projects.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and kneel as required to construct precast products.
• Ability to be on your feet 8 or more hours a day.
