Job description

We're looking for a Full-Time Brewing Production Associate to support our Nitro Cold Brew, Tea, and Seltzer Production team in Beltsville, Maryland. The Brewery Production Associate is responsible for executing daily brewing operations, including brewing, filtration, kegging, cleaning, and equipment setup. This role plays a key part in ensuring the consistent quality and safety of all beverage products. Ideal candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Keg, and properly store Nitro Cold Brew Coffee, seltzer and tea
  • Clean and sanitize brewing equipment
  • Grind coffee beans
  • Operates production equipment (pumps, keg washers, etc.)
  • Prepare beverages following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Set up and operate brewing equipment, pumps, filters, and transfer lines
  • Perform cold brew dilution, filtration, and kegging according to specifications
  • Conduct pre- and post-operational equipment cleaning (CIP)
  • Perform basic quality control checks (TDS, pH, volume, etc.) and record results
  • Clean and sanitize brewing equipment, tanks, hoses, and work areas
  • Handle ingredients and raw materials with care and precision
  • Complete production and sanitation logs accurately and timely
  • Follow all safety, food safety, and hygiene protocols
  • Report any equipment issues or deviations from the process immediately
  • Option to train as a brewer/ roaster if exceptional work is performed

About You

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of connecting with a large variety of skill sets andperspectives
  • Team player and passionate about working with others to create something great
  • Punctual with a consistent work ethic
  • Diligent with high attention to detail and high standards for quality and presentation; this role consists of many repetitive tasks
  • Energetic and flexible.Depending on demand, work can range from 8 to 12 hours on any given day
  • Previous experience in beverage production, food manufacturing, or brewing preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable with basic math and measurements (volume, weight, temperature)
  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures
  • Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule

  • 8-10 hour shifts
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
