Job summary

Marvin is looking for a Production Associate in Baker City, OR. You will work hands-on with wood processing centers and rotate across departments. Training is provided, and this can be the start of a meaningful career in a family-owned company.

Two shifts are available: Days at $20.00/hour and Evenings at $21.00/hour, both with mandatory overtime. Marvin offers health benefits from day one, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Learn to read a calibrated tape measure.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work a physically demanding 10-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack and grade wood by size and quality.
• Operate chop saws, miter saws, and other woodworking equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisor to troubleshoot issues.
• Cross-train across departments to add variety and increase earning potential.

Highlights of your role

• Sort, stack and grade wood based on size and grade of material
• Operate chop saws, compound miter saws, and other equipment
• Work closely with your supervisor to troubleshoot any mechanical or material issues
• Cross-train in multiple departments, adding variety to your workday and more money to your paycheck.

Select a schedule that works for your life:

Monday - Thursday:

• Days: 4:15 am – 2:40 pm Pay:$20.00 per hour
• Evenings: 2:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Pay: $21.00 per hour

Please note: all shifts require mandatory overtime.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Learn to accurately read and use a calibrated tape measure.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attendance and the ability to be on time.
• Ability to work a physical job for 10 hours per day.

Also want to make sure you have

• Previous manufacturing experience or assembly experience is a plus.
• A high school diploma is strongly preferred.
