Aerotek is seeking an entry-level Production Associate for glass production and assembly of Windows & Doors in Auburn, WA. You will follow standard work processes with guidance, collaborating with experienced teammates to build skills while meeting safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

The Production Associate performs entry-level assembly and glass production of Windows & Doors. You will follow well-defined standard work processes with guidance and oversight, collaborating with experienced teammates to develop new skills. This role requires meeting safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards while minimizing waste and cost and maintaining production flow.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Safely move materials and operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Fabricate, assemble, and lift window and door units.
• Work to an established production rate and identify problems, communicating issues promptly.
• Perform housekeeping duties in designated work areas.
• Assist with training co-workers.
• Perform other duties across the plant as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing and tape measure experience preferred.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with typical manufacturing conditions.
• Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment

The work environment is a Window and Door manufacturing plant in Auburn, WA. The day shift operates from 4 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The swing shift is from 2:30 pm to 1 am, Monday through Friday. The plant requires the use of personal protective equipment, and any lifting over 50 pounds will be done as a team lift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
