Job description

Job Title: Production Associate

Type: W2

Location: Fort Smith, AR

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Thursday, 5 AM - 3 PM

Duration: At least 3 months with potential to convert to FTE with GAF. Future shift may be 2nd shift (hours not yet determined).

Responsibilities:

1. Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
2. Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
3. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to specifications.
4. Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform repairs as necessary.
5. Complete apprenticeship or on-the-job training if required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of general work experience.
• Works under close supervision, with a moderate understanding of job aspects.
