General Description of Position

To participate in the day-to-day plant operations to meet or exceed production standards while operating in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reaches production guidelines and standards by sorting, processing, or hanging donated goods.
• Assists in developing additional donors for the agency.
• Ensures the proper rotation of merchandise.
• Participates in the agency's loss control efforts by reporting suspicious activity to a supervisor or the Loss Prevention Director.
• Ensures a clean and safe environment in the plant by practicing good housekeeping practices.
• Regular attendance is required as outlined in Goodwill's attendance policy.
• Observes safety procedures and Goodwill policies.
• Attends regular employee meetings and training.
• Acts as a positive role model for employees, participants, and donors.
• May participate in new store building and renovation efforts as needed.
• Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED, with 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to adapt to office and field routines.

Additional Information

May involve travel within Arkansas during store building and renovation. Frequent physical exertion, exposure to donated goods, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. Must work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends, and in high-stress environments. Good communication skills in English are essential. Ability to establish effective relationships and motivate others is necessary.
