Summary
The Production Associate assists with manufacturing, production tasks and quality control. This role will have knowledge of standard practices and safety procedures. Provides “Right. On Time. Every Time.” products and customer service, both to external and internal customers, within company standards.
Core Functions
- Follows all plant safety procedures and uses all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE). Holds other team members accountable for following all safety procedures, environmental control, process control and quality control practices.
- Follows all setup procedures and work instructions as documented in the Operations System.
- Reports all machinery issues to Maintenance promptly.
- Cleans and resets the assigned equipment and designated parking area at the end of each shift, including but not limited to washing, dusting, vacuuming the unit, sweeping the floor, placing items in the proper storage area, stacking pallets, restocking packaging, and dumping trash.
- Accurately updates all records and visual tracking, whether written or electronic.
- Cross-trains as directed and is willing to work at any production position in the plant, on a as needed basis.
- Completes work as directed by plant management.
- Performs a variety of production tasks utilizing low complexity process equipment, hand tools and power tools common to the fabrication industry.
- Coates or touch up finished goods utilizing brushes, rollers and/or spray guns.
- Marks or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks.
- Assist different production processes by loading, offloading, and moving materials and finished products, manually or with hoists or cranes.
Performs other duties and activities related to the department as necessary to support overall operations and responsibilities, even if not specifically listed above.

Minimum Required
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This role involves working in environments that may be loud, non-temperature-controlled, and exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Employees frequently interact with machinery, moving objects, and vehicles.
Key Physical Requirements
- Regular activities: standing, walking, talking, hearing, and performing tasks requiring fine motor skills (e.g., reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and bending).
- Occasional activities: sitting, climbing, crawling, and lifting items weighing up to 35-55 lbs.

Travel
Ability to work at other facilities, weekends, other shifts and to be on call.
