Bernette Textile Company LLC is seeking a talented and versatile Production Assistant Manager to support our dynamic Production team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across gender categories while developing core production skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and follow up on all orders with daily correspondence with factories
• Set up styles and purchase orders in AMT
• Send confirmed orders and new factory setup information to the operations team
• Generate cost sheets and send to the imports team
• Create UPC stickers, carton stickers, ticket layouts, carton marketing, care label layouts, polybag stickers, packing and folding instructions, hangtags, and call-out stickers placements
• File and check test reports for fiber content, care instructions, and all applicable special attribute testing, including full UL testing for Walmart and Sam's
• Follow up with factories weekly on work-in-progress (WIP)
• Set up item numbers for Sam's in DM
• Send special customer information to factories for carton markings for Winners and TJX Australia
• Generate input sheets with UPC, CAD, carton and item dimensions, and all requirements for Sam's, BJ’s, JCPenney, Walmart, Winners, TJX, etc.
• Inform relevant factories of order information per customer requirements, including shipping specifications for Uline
• Track private ticket orders per customer, including AD samples
• Relay all factory information to the respective salespersons responsible for each account

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in apparel production
• Understanding of garment construction and production processes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Adaptability to switch between different tasks and directions
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Experience with AMT preferred

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday on-site in NYC, remote on Fridays

Salary: $80,000 or higher, depending on experience
