Job summary

Valgroup is seeking a Production Assistant to support our Findlay, Ohio manufacturing facility. The role covers forklift operations, robotic and rewinder machine tasks, and assisting with startup of production lines in a fast-paced plastics environment.

The position is on days with a 2-2-3 schedule (7:30 am–7:30 pm). Starting pay is $20 per hour with a $0.50 raise at 6 months, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Shift/Schedule: Days: 2-2-3 7:30 am - 7:30pm

• Assist with forklifting operations
• Assist with robotic and rewinder machine operation
• Assist production line start-ups
• Obtain forklift certification
• Assist other projects and work as needed

Skills needed for success:

• Read and interpret instructions
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required
