Job summary

Valgroup in Findlay, Ohio, is hiring a Day Shift Operator Assistant - PVDC to support our manufacturing facility. You will operate a new production line, weight materials, and learn line start-up and troubleshooting on a 12-hour day shift (7:30am–7:30pm) with a 2-2-3 rotation and occasional weekends off.

Forklift operation and safety are emphasized alongside teamwork. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with a $0.50 raise at 6 months, plus comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate new production line.
• 12-hour DAY Shift Schedule 7:30am–7:30pm; 2-2-3 rotation; weekdays and every other weekend off.
• Pull and weigh materials.
• Learn line start-up and troubleshooting.
• Learn to operate forklift.
• Assist other projects and work as needed.

What you will do:

• Operate NEW Production Line
• 12-hour DAY Shift Schedule 2-2-3 (7:30am - 7:30pm)
• Multiple weekdays and every other weekend off
• Become a Skilled Machine Operator
• Pull and weigh materials
• Learn line start-up and troubleshooting
• Learn to Operate Forklift
• Assist other projects and work as needed

Skills needed for success:

• Mechanical ability and problem solving
• Safe work behaviors and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
