Description

Position Purpose:

To assist Producers of GTN with various administrative tasks. This includes scheduling meetings, creating and/or formatting documents, overseeing GTN Show(s) Broadcast preparation, hospitality tasks, and postproduction books. This position provides support to GTN filming, along with pre and postproduction preparation and distribution, ensuring success with TV Broadcasts as assigned.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist Producer(s) in all aspects of the GTN Show programming.
  • Schedule meetings on behalf of the Producer(s), and act as a gatekeeper for meeting invites.
  • Attend meetings with GTN employees to take notes and provide summaries and action items to the team.
  • Read, organize, and respond to emails on behalf of the Producer(s) as needed.
  • Assist Producer(s) in taking detailed notes for each Shoot Day for which the Producer is responsible.
  • Fill in and organize Monday Boards for each week of GTN Broadcasts (Daily and Weekly Editions).
  • Create a pre-production line-up “Run Sheet” for Shoot Days.
  • Collaborate with the Production Management office for catering the Shoots for which the Producer is responsible.
  • Collaborate with the ProductionManagement office toschedulehosts, special guests, talent, and studios for Shows the Producer is responsible for.
  • Collaborate with the Production Management office to provide Hospitality / Craft Services for any other Shoots / Special Projects as requested.
  • Log receipts and maintain allotted budgets for all expenses.
  • Meet daily/weekly deadlines and attend all meetings as required.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, prepare rooms for meetings, prepare agendas, record meetings, transcribe and distribute meeting notes, and provide other general administrative support for GTN Producer.
  • Develop and maintain professional communication templates to facilitate clear and effective interdepartmental communication on behalf of senior leadership.
  • Serve as a representative of leadership in various capacities.
  • Utilize templates to create detailed event and project flow documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of multiple events while overseeing comprehensive communication withall relevant individuals and departments.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Craft detailed and comprehensive proposals, complete with financial budgets and strategic details for presentation to executive leadership.
  • Oversee and track diverse projects to ensure deadlines are met and requests are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Manage and coordinate the calendar and schedule of leadership as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality talent and guest experience.
  • Assist in leaving the Green Room and shared spaces used during filming in clean, excellent condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong administrative, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent proficiency in Mac-based computer applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with peers, managers, and across departments.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate when necessary, and change direction quickly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Ability to work with little supervision, results-oriented, and self-motivated.

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • High School diploma or equivalent education is required, College Business Courses a plus.
  • Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate mature Christian behavior and have excellent people skills.
  • Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

  • 2 years ofexperience in Administration or Daily Show Television experience.
  • 1 year of experience with Quality Control for the Gospel Truth show is required.
  • Must be able to operate all Microsoft Office Programs on both PC and MAC platforms.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
