Ajin Georgia is hiring for a Production Assembly Team Member in Statesboro, GA. This full-time entry-level role involves operating production equipment, following work instructions, and performing routine quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing floor and collaborate with the production team to meet daily output goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines assigned to production activities.
• Perform production tasks per written instructions and team directions.
• Conduct basic quality inspections on parts and equipment.

Brief Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

• Perform production activities as outlined in company policies and work instructions.
• Conduct quality inspections on parts and equipment inspections.
• Follow 3C 5S on the production floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate machines assigned individually to perform production activities.
• Follow work standards and verbal instructions.
• Conduct visual self-quality inspections on parts during production activities.
• Conduct daily equipment inspection and perform basic record keeping.
• Follow all safe work practices and PPE requirements.
• Maintain clean and orderly working environments.
• Focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
• Improve operator’s cycle time by suggesting layout modification to team leaders or supervisors.
• Conduct rework activities and defect tracking processes.
• Must be able to work assigned shift with designated hours

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

• High School diploma / GED
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment (Not required).
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and experience with precise work.
• Able to distinguish between quality and defective work results.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination.
• Able to lift objects weighing more than 50 lbs occasionally.

Organizational Relationships :

• Reports to the Production Team Leader for all phases of activities.
• Coordinates job duties with Production Team Members
