Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Assembler I to join its manufacturing team in the United States. You will assemble components, inspect quality, follow safety rules, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
The role emphasizes reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and adhering to 6S Lean practices while maintaining a clean, organized work area and meeting deadlines. Two years in manufacturing preferred.
The Production Assembler I position encompasses responsibilities across multiple departments within the manufacturing facility. This role involves assembling components, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, perform repetitive tasks with mobility to walk, reach, or bend knees, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Demonstrated positive attitude and initiative to improve safety, quality, and productivity with basic problem-solving skill.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively with attention to details.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret prints and use precision measuring instruments preferred.
