Luminator Technology Group is seeking a Production Assembler to join our Plano, Texas team. You will perform intermediate to advanced electro-mechanical assembly, set-ups, and testing, ensuring precise wiring, document reading, and fixture work.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to solder through hole and surface mount components.
  • Read and explain schematics and read bill of materials/drawings.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work with basic tools and fixtures.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components into sub-assemblies and complete fixtures including complex wiring using crimps, ties, and loops.
  • Perform functional test procedures.
  • Read and comprehend a bill of materials and drawings.
  • Perform set-ups using basic tools, jigs, and tests.
  • Review equipment protocols during setup and ensure accuracy.

The successful Production Assembler candidate will be part of a team working to expand a strong and proven concept that has solid growth potential, with the opportunity to create substantial shareholder value. You will be responsible for performing intermediate to advance electro-mechanical assembly operations and basic job set-ups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The successful candidate will have the ability to challenge the organization effectively, resolve problems, and willing to provide a hands-on approach in finding solutions. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.   • Assemble component parts into sub-assemblies and complete fixtures including complex wiring using proper crimps, ties, and loops
  • Perform functional test procedures as appropriate
  • Read and comprehend a bill of materials and drawings
  • Perform set-ups using basic tools, jigs, and tests
  • Review equipment protocols necessary within setup with a sense of complexity

    The Production Assembler will be an experienced candidate who can successfully lead as a very hands-on Production Assembler to scale for additional growth and maximize potential.

This candidate will possess:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Keying, typing, sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50lbs.

Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in a manufacturing environment.

The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of the job.
