Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership in Milan, OH is seeking a Production Assembler to support the line with part bins, part verification, and safety adherence. You will ensure accurate delivery of components and maintain a clean, efficient workspace on a fast-paced line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong hand-eye coordination, basic math skills, and flexibility to work shifts while collaborating with teammates to meet production goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned part bins and daily supply of parts.
• Performs visual verification of parts and stocks.
• Adheres to all policies, safety standards, and standard work.
• Places appropriate parts on chipboards with accuracy.
• Notifies roving parts or the Lead when replenishment is needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area following 5S.
• Identifies and/or initiates action to prevent nonconformities.
• Controls nonconforming product and directs corrective steps as needed.
• Handles various shapes and sizes of parts and tools required.

You support our team as

Production Assembler FT

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned part bins and daily supply of parts at a station or when roving the line.


• Performs visual verification of parts and stocks of assigned part bins.


• Adheres to all company policies, safety standards, single point lessons and standard work in assembly.


• Places appropriate parts and quantities on the chipboards with high attention to accuracy.


• Notifies the assembler roving parts or the Lead when parts need replenished.


• Maintains a clean and safe work area using the company's 5S model.


• Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.


• Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.


• Maintains dexterity to handle various shapes and sizes of parts and tools necessary to perform job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Excellent hand-eye coordination.


• Ability to perform basic math and counting skills. High level of commitment and flexibility
