John Deere Davenport Works in Davenport, IA is seeking a Production Assembler to perform assembly in a safety‑driven, quality‑minded environment. You will read instructions, assemble components, operate power tools and equipment, and maintain records while supporting teammates on the line.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent (NCRC or 3 years manufacturing exp.), 6 months of assembly experience, and flexibility for shifts/overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED, NCRC, or 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
• At least 6 months of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform manual tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting and repetitive actions.
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime (including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts or components to specification.
• Read and comprehend work instructions and follow procedures.
• Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep quality/maintenance records.
• Check results for conformance to specifications and make corrections as needed.
• Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks.
• Use various tools including hand and power tools, testing and runoff equipment, ladders, hoists, fixtures, jigs, and gauges.
• Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other duties inherent to the job.
