John Deere Davenport Works in Davenport, IA is seeking a Production Assembler to perform assembly in a safety‑driven, quality‑minded environment. You will read instructions, assemble components, operate power tools and equipment, and maintain records while supporting teammates on the line.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent (NCRC or 3 years manufacturing exp.), 6 months of assembly experience, and flexibility for shifts/overtime.

• Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other duties inherent to the job.

Primary Location: United States (US)- Iowa - Davenport

As a Production Assembler with John Deere Davenport Works (Davenport, IA), you will:

Perform assembly related operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

• Assemble parts or components to specification.
• Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
• Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
• Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections.
• Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
• Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to hand and power tools, testing and runoff equipment, ladders, hoists, fixtures, jigs, and gages.
• Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Starting Pay: $27.79 / hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one of the following:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• At least 6 months of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift – with or without reasonable accommodation; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
