Job description

Production Assembler – Blend Center (1st Shift)
Gerald Industries, A DEMA Company | Gerald, MO | Full-Time, Onsite
$17.10/hour to start + $1.00/hour Perfect Attendance Incentive
Earn up to $18.10/hour when the incentive is earned

Day Shift Only | 4½-Day Work Week | Early Finish Every Friday

You'll Build the Whole Thing - and Prove It Works

In our Blend Center, you build complete dispensing units from the ground up: components, fittings, and hardware come together in your hands, and then you test what you built before it ships. Restaurants, hospitals, laundries, and farms across the country rely on those units every single day.

It's variety, ownership, and a finished product you can point to. Experience helps, but it isn't required - we'll teach you the build.

What You'll Earn
  • $17.10 per hour starting base pay
  • Additional $1.00 per hour Perfect Attendance Incentive for eligible employees - up to $18.10/hour*
  • Performance incentives with opportunities to earn more
  • Day shift only - home in time for dinner
  • 4½-day work week with an early finish every Friday
  • Minimal mandatory overtime; optional overtime available
  • Steady, year-round work with a growing manufacturer

*The $1.00/hour Perfect Attendance Incentive is available to eligible employees who meet the requirements of the incentive program and is applied to every hour worked during the applicable pay period.

What You'll Do

Every day is a little different, but your responsibilities will include:

  • Assemble components and finished dispensing products according to work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements
  • Match, fit, and secure parts into sub-assemblies using hand tools, air tools, and power tools
  • Perform functional tests and inspections using quality testing equipment to verify assemblies meet established standards
  • Read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and assembly documentation for your assigned area
  • Identify and report defects, assembly issues, or quality concerns to your supervisor
  • Complete production and quality records accurately
  • Cross-train in additional assembly areas as business needs and your skills develop
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety, quality, and PPE requirements
What We're Looking For

We hire people who show up, pay attention to detail, and take pride in work that's built right - because the products that leave our facility carry our name.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is helpful but not required - we'll train the right person
  • Comfort using hand tools, air tools, and power tools, or the willingness to learn
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and assembly documentation
  • Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new processes and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and the ability to work well with your team
  • Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety

Mechanically inclined? If you've worked on cars, run tools on a jobsite, fixed things around the house, or assembled anything for a living - those skills transfer directly.

Our facility is clean and well organized; PPE is provided and required in designated areas, and temperatures may vary seasonally.
