  • Assemble precision components including linear slides, servo motors, gearboxes, pneumatic components, and dispensing pump mechanisms
  • Perform basic wiring and cable harness assembly, routing, and termination per electrical schematics
  • Install and align sensors, encoders, cameras, lasers, and other electromechanical components
  • Torque fasteners and verify assembly tolerances using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, dial indicators)
  • Assemble and integrate pneumatic/fluid systems (tubing, fittings, valves, pumps) for dispensing and coating equipment
  • Utilize the organizations Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to create, update, and close out assembly related job & work orders
Testing & Quality
  • Perform basic functional checks and mechanical adjustments during and after assembly
  • Support system-level power-up, calibration, and test procedures alongside engineering and test technicians
  • Identify and document parts discrepancies, fit issues, or quality concerns; escalation to engineering or supervisors as needed
  • Follow ESD-safe handling procedures for sensitive electronic components
  • Maintain accurate build-documentation, including checklists, traveler signoffs, and serial number tracking
  • Provide feedback to engineering team on assembly issues, design for manufacturability concerns, or recurring problems
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) builds, including first-article assembly and troubleshooting of new designs
  • Collaborate with test technicians, engineers, and production supervisors to resolve build issues and meet production schedules
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S practices)
  • Assist with inventory counts, kitting of parts, and staging of materials as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school certificate a plus
  • 1-3+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly, ideally in industrial or equipment manufacturing
