Hörmann North America is seeking workers to assemble precut steel garage door sections using hand and power tools. No prior experience required; some transferrable experience is acceptable. Expect daytime shifts on-site with a wage of $18.50–$20.42 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Role involves reading work orders, stacking and banding sections, and performing quality checks. Required high school diploma or GED; physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand long hours is expected.

Skills/Knowledge Required

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Able to lift 50-75lbs safely
• Able to stand for extended periods of time (10-12-hour days)
• Good hand-eye coordination

Physical Environment/Working Conditions

This position is in our manufacturing plant. It will involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day and requires repetitive motion of arms, shoulders, wrists and hands. The plant is not climate controlled and will require the employee to dress appropriately. Noise levels can become high so NWD provides and requires hearing protection in the department.
