Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Production Assembler in Pioneer, Ohio. You will assemble products, inspect finished work, and help keep factory operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently.

The role offers two shifts: 1st shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 3rd shift 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, with pay rate $17.00–$18.00 per hour. This entry-level position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn across departments.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required.
  • Willingness to learn and assist in other departments as needed.

  • Operate production machinery and equipment.
  • Assemble, inspect, and package finished products.
  • Load and unload materials as needed.

  • Perform quality inspections on products.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Production Assembler.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
  • Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
