PrideStaff is currently seeking production positions for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with opportunities for growth. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.
- Salary: $18 - $18.50
- Shift: M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Job Summary
Work as part of a team responsible for assembling an entire product or component. Team assemblers perform all tasks involved in the assembly process and rotate through various tasks rather than being assigned to a specific task permanently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of raw materials and production processes.
- Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
- Manoeuvres workpieces in equipment during production.
- Removes accessories, tools, or other parts from equipment.
- Mounts attachments or tools onto production equipment.
- Trims excess material from workpieces.
- Operates cutting equipment.
- Uses tools (e.g., clamps) and machines (e.g., presses).
- Labels finished products, workpieces, and/or equipment with identifying boxes.
- Packages products for storage or shipment.
- Records labor expenditure and operational or production data daily.
- Maintains production or processing equipment.
- Reports issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Moves products weighing up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis.
Specifications
- Comfortable handling tools and equipment daily.
- Works in a team environment to complete tasks.
- Problem sensitivity: noticing when problems occur.
- Physical environment involves squatting, crouching, bending, twisting, lifting, pulling, and reaching.
- Physical requirement includes standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and finger/hand flexibility for manipulating parts and components.
Regular, predictable full attendance is essential for this role.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
