Job summary

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, is seeking a Production Assembler based in McKinney, Texas. You will assemble electronic components using drawings, schematics, work instructions, specification sheets, and manuals.

Primary responsibilities include winding magnet wire onto plastic bobbins, applying solder to terminals and wires, repairing or replacing defective components, applying insulation and connecting wiring, verifying materials and requirements, and testing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Aptitude and interest in practical, hands-on work are beneficial.
• Strong manual dexterity is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small and large volume production of electronic components.
• Wind magnet wire onto plastic bobbins.
• Apply solder to terminals and wires.
• Repair or replace defective components.
• Apply insulation and connect wiring.
• Verify materials and requirements.
• Test electrical components.

Job description

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Production Assembler based in McKinney, TX. This position is responsible for assembling small electronic components using drawings, schematics, work instructions, specification sheets, and manuals.

Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries including renewable energy, solar, medical, aerospace, automotive, and military. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, and McKinney, TX in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.

Primary responsibilities include assembling small and large volume production of electronic components, winding magnet wire onto plastic bobbins, applying solder to terminals and wires, repairing or replacing defective components, applying insulation and connecting wiring, verifying materials and requirements, and testing electrical components.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience is not required. A demonstrated aptitude and interest in practical, hands-on work are beneficial, and strong manual dexterity is required.
