Job Description

We are seeking a Production Assembler to become a valued member of our team! The ideal candidate would be an individual who, under moderate supervision, applies standard procedures to perform a variety of component assembly tasks, ensuring products meet our high standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Assembles components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets.
2. Responsible for weighing, loading, and pressing operations.
3. Handles tooling and fixtures / uses various hand tools to produce or modify parts.
4. Maintains count and logs progress in terms of time and quantities.
5. Closes and assembles units (uses crimping and closure tools and epoxy applications).
6. Performs soldering tasks, such as small wire soldering, terminal soldering, and bridge wire welding.
7. Assists with packaging of pyrotechnic assemblies when required.
8. Follows company safety practices and quality procedures.
9. Physical activity includes lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields.
2. Soldering experience of at least 1 year.
3. Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.
4. Ability to handle physical workload.
5. Ability to work well in teams.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

The position will mainly report to our facility in Fairfield, NJ. Occasionally, there may be a need to report to our facility in Byram Township, NJ. Candidates must be willing to report to both locations at least 20% of the time.

Shift:

Monday-Thursday | 10 Hour Day Shift: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
