The Production Supervisor will direct, supervise, correlate, and instruct floor supervisor duties related to production, quality, efficiency, safety, and employee morale.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Support business teams (BT) by leading problem-solving efforts to improve production, safety, quality, and reduce costs.
- Maintain records for all shifts, including production, efficiencies, quality, safety, attendance, overtime, and vacation scheduling.
- Communicate with Floor Supervisors to ensure accurate and fluid production information and handle administrative duties for departmental accuracy.
- Provide and maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with department ISO requirements.
- Serve as Deputy Production Manager in their absence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
- Read and understand instructions regarding specs, procedures, tolerances, and quality requirements.
- Communicate effectively with operators and supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
- Follow all safety and environmental policies.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and responsibly.
- Possess high technical knowledge, leadership skills, team-building, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and good communication skills.
- Support team development and identify opportunities for improvement using soft skills.
- Participate in business meetings, monitor efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives like OEE/TEEP.
- Develop and follow standard operating procedures and conduct improvement workshops.
- Ensure standards are applied correctly and participate in area-wide initiatives such as 5S or TPM.
- Assist in coaching and development of level 1 teams to meet targets and implement innovations.
Your profile
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
