  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum one year manufacturing experience or minimum five years’ experience in manufacturing.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability to drive team performance and safety.
  • Ability to plan staffing levels, cross-training, and scheduling to meet demand.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach assigned team to meet safety, quality, and delivery metrics.
  • Manage area projects, production, costs, scheduling, shipping, receiving and quality to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Drive root cause problem solving with vendors, suppliers, and customers on quality and delivery issues.
  • Lead development and implementation of lean and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure safety accountability and compliance with EHS requirements.
  • Maintain required documentation for internal and external regulations.
  • Support team development and engagement.

Supervise, organize, mentor and coach assigned team members in performance of their duties while influencing others to carry the Vermeer culture forward. Establish and monitor individual and team goals which are aligned with the organization’s strategies and objectives to drive key business results. Use expertise to ensure the team is serving its internal and external customers and meeting defined expectations.2. Manage all aspects of assigned area including, but not limited to, projects, production, costs, scheduling, shipping, receiving and quality. Ensure on-time delivery of the product, within budget, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.3. Drive root cause problem solving to address vendor, supplier and customer issues concerning quality and delivery.4. Lead the development and implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement projects to improve cost, quality, and safety standards for assigned area.5.
