Job summary

Vermeer is seeking a technically minded maintenance professional to support preventative maintenance and repair across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in our Florida facility. You will work with mentors and peers to ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires two years of maintenance experience or an related associate's degree, proficiency with blueprints/electrical schematics, and familiarity with Thrive and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in equipment maintenance; or associated degree with one year of related experience; or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, and to write intra-departmental communications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Thrive maintenance data system.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment (hoists, paint systems, machining centers, weld systems).
• Provide positive customer experience with mentors, peers, internal customers and vendors.
• Utilize Thrive for data entry and maintenance tracking and adhere to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues; serve as SME for one or two systems.

In this role, you will support the repair and maintenance needs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electrical systems supporting production. Perform and accurately record scheduled preventative maintenance procedures on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, hoists, paint systems, machining centers, and weld systems.2. Create a positive customer experience when working with mentors/mentees, peers, internal customers and external suppliers and vendors.3. Accurately utilize the maintenance data system Thrive.4. Perform maintenance functions of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical equipment on a variety of equipment across multiple maintenance systems and serve as a subject matter expert within one to two specific systems, while adhering to safety protocols as an Authorized Lockout/Tagout Team Member and, when applicable, as an Electrically Qualified Team Member.5.
