Job summary

Pures Food Specialties LLC in Illinois is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead a team of packaging associates, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met. You will coordinate with production planning to schedule packaging activities and allocate resources to hit targets, while maintaining accurate records of output and downtime.

You will enforce quality control, oversee equipment maintenance, promote safety, and communicate with other department leads to keep production running

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in packaging leadership or supervisory roles.

• Ensure that the team meets production goals and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to schedule packaging activities based on production requirements.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.

• Monitor packaging lines to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Address any issues related to packaging quality promptly.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of packaging machinery.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment issues and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality control measures.
• Generate reports for management on packaging performance and efficiency.
• Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling.
• Communicate regularly with other department leads and managers to ensure smooth coordination of production activities.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by team members.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements
