Job summary

Zekelman Industries' Wheatland Tube facility on Council Avenue in Wheatland, PA, is offering a Production Analytics & AI Intern role on site from May 24, 2027 through August 13, 2027.

This internship sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations, production planning, data analytics, and AI, and involves collaboration with both the Production Planning and AI & Innovation teams to improve planning decisions through data, automation, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Strong interest in manufacturing, production planning, analytics, AI, or digital transformation.
• Proficient with Excel and familiar with data visualization or reporting tools.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support production planning activities through analysis of manufacturing, inventory, and scheduling data.
• Analyze production workflows and recommend opportunities for automation, digitalization, or AI-enabled improvements.
• Partner with Production Planning and AI & Innovation teams to evaluate business processes and develop practical solutions.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support production decisions.
• Assist with pilot projects involving AI tools, analytics platforms, or digital productivity solutions.
