Job summary

Sand Technologies seeks a senior technical leader to deliver production‑level intelligent solutions. You will manage client relationships, guide a cross‑functional squad of data engineers, scientists, and software engineers, and contribute hands‑on to delivery while maintaining architectural integrity.

You will work closely with the AI Solutions Director and Product Manager to scope work, drive delivery, and ensure quality, reliability, and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a technical role with at least 2 years in a lead or equivalent player‑manager capacity.
• Experience leading technical delivery, ideally in a client‑facing or consulting model.
• Proficient across software and data engineering; review React/TypeScript frontend and Python/ .NET backend.
• Hands‑on Azure experience: Event Hubs, Data Lake, Databricks, Digital Twins, AKS, AI services.
• Comfortable as the primary technical face to clients in regulated environments.
• Record of setting engineering standards and mentoring teams through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across the full stack from data ingestion to API layers.
• Serve as the client’s primary technical contact and represent Sand’s approach.
• Mentor a cross‑functional squad of engineers and data scientists.
• Collaborate with Solution Architect to translate design into delivery decisions.
• Break product scope into work items for the team and drive delivery.
• Contribute hands‑on while guiding the team and maintaining system understanding.
• Be on-site with the client to deliver the production system.
