Job summary

Accenture Security is seeking a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer in California to be embedded with a client’s security and engineering teams. You will own outcomes: reduced attack surface, production-safe AI deployments, and measurable security posture improvements.

You will work with Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as your primary tools, lead threat modeling and security architecture for production AI systems, and drive end-to-end security delivery in client environments.

• Proven ability to communicate security risk in business terms.
• People lead responsibilities: experience managing and developing a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments across complex client environments.
• Deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools as the primary build environment.
• Own AI-specific threat surface management at programme scale.
• Architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack.
• Lead AI governance framework implementation for live production systems.
• Shape AI reinvention security strategy for client leadership.
• Define and publish reusable security patterns and accelerators across client engagements.
• Lead architecture design sessions and threat modeling workshops.
