Job summary

Pearson is seeking an experienced AI/ML leader to drive production AI capabilities across learner intelligence, personalization, and knowledge graphs. You will craft Generative AI, LLM, and RAG solutions with measurable business impact, and build scalable platform capabilities that accelerate adoption in Pearson products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying production AI/ML systems.
• Strong experience with applied machine learning, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with foundation models and modern AI frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software practices (APIs, testing, CI/CD).
• Experience designing scalable AI platforms and deployment architectures in AWS or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, deployment, and operation of production AI capabilities.
• Design and deliver Generative AI and LLM solutions with measurable impact.
• Build reusable AI platform components and workflows across Pearson products.
• Own end-to-end AI delivery lifecycle from prototyping to production and monitoring.
