Job summary

Inviso is seeking a remote Applied AI Engineer to build and operate production AI capabilities across an enterprise platform. You will focus on agent runtimes, model routing, RAG, tool/function calling, guardrails, evaluation, monitoring, cost management, latency optimization, and production quality controls.

The role is 100% remote, with potential travel to meet client needs. You will partner with product and engineering teams to decide when AI is the right solution, and you will ship AI that

Qualifications

• Shipping software backed by LLMs and ML in production.
• Designing agent runtimes, orchestration, and model routing.
• Strong RAG, grounding, and prompt design knowledge.
• Experience building evaluation harnesses and quality gates.
• Treat cost, latency, reliability, and safety as engineering constraints.
• Experience building AI guardrails and risk controls.
• Proven production AI monitoring and iteration from experiments.
• Collaborates with backend, platform, product, and security teams.

Responsibilities
