Normal Computing seeks an AI Engineer to build production systems that understand AI models, documents, and chip design collateral. You will ship real improvements to our production platform using reinforcement learning and agentic coding, expanding AI capabilities for hardware design.

You will own end-to-end development, explore multi-agent approaches, and ensure production-grade reliability while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with product teams.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering production AI systems involving language models and agentic coding workflows.
• Strong software engineering skills with distributed systems and production-grade code.
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face, transformers).
• Experience benchmarking and profiling ML models, runtimes (e.g., VLLM, SG Lang) and hardware.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs.
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead AI development from initial concept through production deployment and iteration.
• Handle multi-modal complexity and multi-agent, autoresearch approaches for agentic code generation.
• Design strategies to manage latency, output variance, and graceful error handling at scale.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into the platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for AI development.
